Raushaw
Raushaw tends the tavern/market near the docks of the village. Mostly, his establishment coordinates the distribution of the village’s catch to Fort Talmadge and elsewhere. But given his location, he serves up ale, bread and stew to the fisherfolk and rents rooms to those who arrive at the village by boat – mostly merchants and sailors.
Some locals prefer Raushaw’s establishment because news comes in when vessels arrive for the products of the mine.
Raushaw looks just like another fishermen, but younger than his age as he’s been indoors instead of out on a boat. He’s taken a bit to flesh, as he takes his pick of the catch and doesn’t sweat so much hauling it in. Still, he’s well-liked and friendly though he won’t set foot on a boat.
