Monastery Hill is named for the ancient, ruined monastery which graces the top of its hill. Forests occlude much of the ruins, but pieces of them can be seen from high points for miles around. The guards in The Old Fort swear when they stand on the battlements, they can see fires in the old monastery from time to time.
