Fishermen's point
Right across the waters of Zelligar’s Passage, Fishermen’s Point is a 70’ cliff easily seen over the 10 miles of water between it and the village. On a good day, it takes about 2 1/2 hours to row out to the point.
There are rocks beneath it, and the currents are a bit treacherous at this point as the waters draining into the passage decide between the going out or being washed in.
Still, there is reliable fishing at the point. Boats have been known to throw a small portion of meat overboard before setting hooks or nets into the water, though not all fisherfolk will admit to the act nor could any say why.
