Hrolfr’s mother, Maria Massilia, was a frontier healer and midwife who helped the farmers in the countryside. She was abducted by Orcs who forced her to use her skills to heal and assist them. Eventually an Orc fell in love with her, and freed her; however he was slain helping her in the escape. In his honor she named their son after him, Hrolfr. Which, in Orcish means “wolf”.

Like his mother, Hrolfr is quite smart though he plays the dumb brute stereotype so that others will underestimate him. Generally he only displays his intelligence and opens up to his friends who he has grown to trust.
